Made in the United States with several producers, it is the record Frame later called his Young Americans. Somewhere in My Heart nearly missed the album, he said, and then became the band's biggest hit, reaching three in the UK in 1988. Love reached ten, spent 43 weeks on the chart, went platinum and was nominated for Best British Album at the 1989 Brit Awards. Its closing song gave the fan site Killermont Street its name.
