The twelfth of fourteen tracks on Dead Bees on a Cake, it was written, produced and mixed by Sylvian, with Dave Kent sharing the mix. Its drums come from the Real World sessions, where Sylvian worked through a series of drummers and bass players before settling on Ged Lynch and John Giblin, and Lynch's rhythms underpin this song along with Thalheim and Pollen Path. Sylvian plays guitar and keyboards, Giblin bass and Tommy Barbarella Fender Rhodes. It was never a single, and it reappeared on Everything and Nothing (2000) and on the 2018 Record Store Day double vinyl.

He first played it live on 24 September 2001 at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, on the Everything and Nothing tour, and it returned for eighteen shows on The World Is Everything tour of 2007, with Steve Jansen, Keith Lowe and Takuma Watanabe, across Europe, Hong Kong and Japan. setlist.fm logs 23 performances in all. Logan covered it on Nuntius (2010), and Andrea Polinelli and Antonio Magli recorded an instrumental version for Visions of Sylvian (2017). The upload in the hypersongs web is the album version.
