Blah-Blah-Blah
The 1986 reunion with Bowie, and the album that holds Real Wild Child.

- David Bowie and David Richards
Blah-Blah-Blah appeared after a four-year gap for Pop, with Bowie as his main collaborator and co-producer alongside David Richards. Bowie co-wrote most of the songs and sang backing vocals but, unlike on The Idiot and Lust for Life, played no instruments. Three songs were co-written with the former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, who also played the guitar solo on Cry for Love. The collection includes a cover of Johnny O'Keefe's Wild One, titled Real Wild Child (Wild One). Pop credited Bowie in 1990 with setting up a good framework for him to tell his story.
It peaked at number 75 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold in Canada. Other singles were Cry for Love, Isolation and Shades. Rolling Stone's review at the time complained of a nagging homogeneity on side one but found the album emotionally direct.
