The album adds a string section, Fender Rhodes and slide guitar, and its track titles are single letters. Nelson called WR probably the most realized song they ever did, almost all Donne's work. Misfit City described it as the sound of dust with blues, and FACT placed it eighth among the best post-rock albums of all time. P was used in Chris Morris's Blue Jam.
