Bundles
The last full studio album with Mike Ratledge, led by Karl Jenkins and Allan Holdsworth.

By Bundles, most members had come from the jazz-rock band Nucleus. The exception was Ratledge, the only original member left. Holdsworth's prominent guitar set the record apart from earlier Soft Machine albums, which rarely featured the instrument. Only two compositions are by Ratledge, one of them under two minutes long, and he left during the early sessions for the next album, Softs.
