Sutton said the title came from his nickname during the Hex sessions, when he was swinging from one extreme to another. At nearly ten minutes it is the longest piece on the album, and Stereogum groups it with Fingerspit and Eyes & Smiles as the three tracks on the second side that each run past eight minutes. The band were playing it live by 15 August 1991, when an audience tape from the Commonwealth Institute in London has it third in a set of six, well before the album was recorded. The song was used in the 2008 film Definitely, Maybe and in a Chris Morris sketch for Jam. The Replay compilation includes a live version, one of five tracks recorded at St John's in 1991.
