The title honours Rua 13 de Maio, one of the main streets of Bixiga and the street the band's studio stands on. Like everything on III, it is credited to the whole collective, and it was recorded live in the studio at Traquitana in 2014, with guest Anderson Quevedo on tenor saxophone and flute, then mixed by Victor Rice at Estúdio Copan. It was released first, in December 2014, as a 7-inch single backed with 100% Dub, a remix credited to Strikkly Vikkly, and launched with two shows at SESC Vila Mariana. The band took it to New York the following month, and it became the third track of III.
Sounds and Colours heard a mellower tune dressed in jazzy clothes, with a hidden scent of North Africa. Victor Rice reworked it again as 100% Dub to open The Copan Connection in 2016, and Rolling Stone Brasil judged it improved by his kaleidoscopic touches. A live take recorded at Sesc 24 de Maio in January 2019 appears on Sessões Selo Sesc #5, and a new single version followed in August 2024.
Live
