The title is glossed as A Great Desert I Saw. Andy Beta of Pitchfork called it the album's centerpiece, driven by a lilting bassline that leads into a solo from Bombino, with trilling zaghrouta voices.
It is credited to Abdallah Ag Alhousseyni as an adaptation of a traditional piece. Avi Salloway plays rhythm guitar on it, Corey Wilhelm plays djembe and Youba Dia plays bass.
