Released in September 1995 by Ruffhouse, Columbia and SME as the lead single from III: Temples of Boom, it was written by B-Real and DJ Muggs and produced by Muggs. It reached 45 on the Hot 100 and 11 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart, and earned the group a third Grammy nomination. McG directed the video, which has a sepia tone and images of Buddha. The song and Insane in the Brain both appear in The Simpsons episode Homerpalooza.

Music Week rated the single three out of five, calling it a laid-back offering that would please fans.
