The track remakes Serge Gainsbourg's Melody and Cargo Culte and carries Gainsbourg's name as writer. It strings in the London Session Orchestra and was recorded and mixed at Matrix and Metropolis. It reached the UK top 40 as a single.
Pitchfork's Stuart Berman called it a Gainsbourgian funk workout. On the 2010 compilation The Dogs Are Parading, Arab Strap turn it into an Aidan Moffat monologue, while Mogwai amplify its underlying menace into noise.
