Sunflower

Sunflower is the sixteenth studio album by the Beach Boys and the first for Reprise Records. Sessions began in January 1969 and finished in July 1970. It reached No. 151 in the US and No. 29 in the UK. The album includes Forever, regarded as among Dennis Wilson's finest, and Wilson's other songs on it were Slip On Through, Got to Know the Woman and It's About Time.

His songs were said to have been included at the insistence of Warner-Reprise, which felt they sounded more contemporary than other rejected Beach Boys tracks. Slip On Through became the first of his songs issued as an A-side single by the group.
