Play on hypersongs

Recorded mostly at Dreamland, a church studio in upstate New York, with John Agnello engineering, Where You Been has Murph back on drums and Mike Johnson on bass, with Mascis adding timpani, chimes, piano and organ and a small string section on one song. Mascis told MTV it was the first time they had felt like a band in about six years; Murph later called it his favorite of the records he played on. It reached ten in Britain and fifty in America, selling over 250,000 copies there, and Michael Azerrad gave it four stars in Rolling Stone.
