Harris and Mark Knopfler had been recording together on and off since Thanksgiving 1998, and All the Roadrunning appeared in April 2006. Their twenty-three-date tour that spring and summer ended in California, and the Gibson Amphitheatre show on 28 June was recorded and filmed by Martyn Atkins, with Guy Fletcher producing and Bob Ludwig mastering. The set mixes Knopfler songs with Harris's Red Dirt Girl and Boulder to Birmingham; the band includes Stuart Duncan on fiddle and Matt Rollings on keyboards. It went gold in Germany.
