All the Good Times (Are Past & Gone)

A lockdown album of covers and traditional songs, the first billed to both Welch and Rawlings.
Gillian Welch, 2020

Released
10 July 2020
Producer
David Rawlings

Welch and Rawlings recorded it at home during the 2020 lockdowns. It consists entirely of cover songs and traditional material in newly developed arrangements, among them Bob Dylan's Senor and Abandoned Love and John Prine's Hello in There. Rawlings produced, and he and Matt Andrews recorded and mastered it. Welch and Rawlings arranged the traditional pieces, and Peter Nevins and Rawlings made the cover artwork.

It was the first studio album officially credited to both of them. It won the Grammy for Best Folk Album in 2021.
