Recorded at Grant Avenue in 1979 and issued in April 1980, the album was made by Budd improvising while Eno processed the piano in real time. Its ten pieces run from the seven-minute First Light to the brief Steal Away. AllMusic's Dave Connolly called it a lovely, evocative work, and Pitchfork gave it 8.4.
