Tarha Tadagh opens Imarhan. It comes from the 2014 sessions in Montreuil, produced by Eyadou Ag Leche and Patrick Votan, with Felix Beguin on organ and Hachem Ben Khridla adding guitar to the band. KLOF heard Sadam all but murmuring a sad tale of love gone wrong over a spacious, brittle midtempo arrangement, and Songlines called it a fresh, melodic acoustic opener.
The band posted an official video on 26 July 2016, and in August NPR stations carried a studio performance of it from KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, the only song in that set. It has been an occasional live song since, with seven performances logged from Leeds in 2022 to Manchester in 2026. The upload in the hypersongs web is the official video, a shorter edit of the album track.
