Recorded at Record One with Val Garay engineering, it was his first album with no cover versions. Wikipedia says the title answered Carly Simon's 1980 ultimatum about his time on the road. It reached number ten in the US, carried by Her Town Too. Rolling Stone found the tunes simple and easy to remember, and William Ruhlmann of AllMusic heard a recovery after the uneven Flag.
