The lead single, Radioactive, and its video premiered on the band's website on 8 September 2010. The album debuted at number one in the UK, selling 183,000 copies in the first week, and at number two in the US. It was the biggest first-week digital album seller in the UK at the time, with more than 49,000 downloads. Metacritic scores it 64 from 27 reviews. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 54th Grammys. Rolling Stone placed it at number 18 on its list of the best albums of 2010, and Q placed it at number 25.
