The song opens the Soundway editions of Desesperanza, and Eblis Álvarez wrote, played, recorded and mastered it alone at Isaac Newton, his home studio in Bogotá. Its subtitle means we are not alone. The band's lyric sheet prints no words for it, only a note that it is sung in extraterrestrial language: the vocal is an invented alien tongue, not Spanish. Songlines heard it, with Salsa del Zombie, as salsa about zombies and life from other worlds, and Sounds and Colours likened it to a Joe Meek trip into the extraterrestrial. A second take, the Versión Rebajada, closes the album.

Gilles Peterson named it his No. 1 track of 2012, hearing twisted cumbia at around 150 BPM that terrorises the dancefloor, and played it on his BBC 6 Music best of the year show. The band's bio lists his pick first among its achievements.

Live

Fans filmed it at Festival Centro in Bogotá in January 2013. It opened the band's NPR Tiny Desk set in 2023, where NPR heard grooves floating beneath almost otherworldly keyboards and Álvarez's sly vocal, and an audience tape from Tubby's in Kingston, New York, that July stretches it past eight minutes. Both uploads in the hypersongs web are the same album recording, one from the band's own channel and one from Soundway Records.
