Play on hypersongs

From the Morning closes Pink Moon, Drake alone with voice and guitar, recorded in one of the two late-night sessions in October 1971. Among the bleakest songs on the album it sounds like daybreak, and Jenny Hollingworth of Let's Eat Grandma, who covered it in 2023, called it the most hopeful song on the record. A line from it is carved on Drake's headstone in the churchyard at Tanworth-in-Arden, usually given as now we rise and we are everywhere. He never performed it live. It ended the 1998 BBC radio documentary about him, and has been recorded by Shannon Lay and quickly, quickly.
