All Mine is the second track and first single from Portishead. Barrow, Gibbons and Utley wrote it and the band produced it with Dave McDonald. Andy Hague, John Cornick and Ben Waghorn played the horns, which Nick Ingman arranged. The single came out in September 1997 on Go! Discs and London Records, with Cowboys, Only You and Over, and entered the UK chart at number 8 on 14 September 1997. It remains the band's only UK top 10 hit. It also reached number 8 in Scotland, 22 on the Eurochart Hot 100, 29 in New Zealand and 36 in Australia.
The black and white video shows a young girl performing the song in front of an orchestra and a camera, with Italian subtitles. It is said to be inspired by a late 1960s Italian music show and The Outer Limits, and a picture from it is on the album cover. Billboard's Larry Flick wrote that Gibbons had perfected her Shirley Bassey vocal inflections. Tom Jones covered the song on his 1999 album Reload. A version with the orchestra appears on Roseland NYC Live.
