James Ford produced More at Orbb in London in late 2024. Cocker, Doyle, Banks and Webber were joined in the studio by touring members Andrew McKinney on bass, Emma Smith on violin and Adam Betts on various instruments. It is their first album since Freaks without Steve Mackey, who is credited as a co-writer on two songs. Julian House designed the cover from a photograph Cocker took near Kerlingarfjoll in Iceland on 15 July 2024, altered to include cardboard cutouts of the band from the Different Class sleeve.
Spike Island came out as the lead single on 10 April 2025, Got to Have Love on 22 May and Tina on 21 July. The album reached number one in the UK, its first number one since This Is Hardcore, and holds an average of 83 on Metacritic from 23 reviews. Heather Phares of AllMusic wrote that it is classic Pulp, aged to near perfection. It was among the 12 nominees for the 2025 Mercury Prize.
