Free Will and Testament is the fifth track on Shleep and runs 4:13. It is credited to Wyatt and Mark Kramer. Pitchfork's Douglas Wolk counted it, with Was a Friend, among Wyatt's most elegant melodies. Trouser Press named it one of two highlights involving Paul Weller and described it as an existential contemplation that provocatively wonders what kind of spider understands arachnophobia.
