Recorded on 3 March 1972 with Getz producing, and released on Columbia in 1975. Chick Corea composed most of the material and played electric piano. Six months later Corea, Clarke and Moreira recorded Corea's Return to Forever, which led to the group of that name, and Corea recut La Fiesta for that album and Five Hundred Miles High and Captain Marvel for Light as a Feather in 1973, both before the Getz record came out.
It reached number 191 on the Billboard 200 and number 22 on the Billboard jazz albums chart in 1975. AllMusic's Thom Jurek wrote that, with Sweet Rain, it is the finest recording Getz made in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
