The fifth album came out on the Belgian label Sub Rosa (SR155) and was reissued by Kranky in late 2002. The title means with laudanum. By the time of the recording Wiltzie lived in Brussels and McBride in Los Angeles, and a large share of the album was recorded through the mail. Wiltzie and McBride composed and arranged it. The first three tracks are parts of one long piece, The Atomium, and the last two are single pieces.

AllMusic's John Bush called it a magnificent piece of minimalist ambience. In Pitchfork, Mark Richardson heard a transitional record, made just before the acoustic instruments that gave Tired Sounds its character, and said the third part of The Atomium sounds quite Fripp and Eno. He called it perhaps the band's most focused and precise record.
