She produced the standard edition with Antonoff, with Sounwave, Jahaan Sweet and Keanu Beats co-producing two tracks each. The standard edition was recorded at Antonoff's Rough Customer studio in Brooklyn and at Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan. A 3am Edition with seven more songs, four written with Antonoff and three with Aaron Dessner, was released three hours after the standard edition.
It was the best-selling album of 2022 in the United States, and Anti-Hero reached number one on the Hot 100. At the 2024 Grammys it won Album of the Year, which made Swift the first artist to win that award four times.
