Demoed alongside Upside Down on the Portastudio, it was recorded at Alaska Studios and released by Blanco y Negro in February 1985. It reached 47 in the UK. The label had initially refused to press the single because of its B-side, Suck, but went ahead given the alternative the band put forward, a song called Jesus Fuck. On Psychocandy it opens side two. NME placed it first in its Tracks of the Year for 1985, with Just Like Honey second. Jim Reid ended a rare solo gig with it at the Sonic Cathedral club in London on 13 October 2005.
