"Mam Yinne Wa" was written by Alogte Oho, according to Bandcamp Daily, though the credit was not independently verified. Yinne wa is God, and a festival biography renders the title as God, You Love Me So; Oho said God so love me, that's why I'm still alive. He wrote it in about 2014 while recovering from a broken leg after a motorbike accident in Accra, as thanks to God, an upbeat polyrhythmic track with an orchestral arrangement.
The original was recorded in Ghana with vocals and MIDI-programmed percussion only. Weissenfeldt took it to Berlin to build it up with friends, some of them former Poets of Rhythm, and the American flutist Sabir Mateen played a solo, as Oho had no passport yet. Many of those players became the touring backing band for him and Guy One. Philophon issued it as a seven-inch in November 2016 and it became the title track of the 2019 album. A festival biography says it was a local hit in Ghana before its international release, which is unverified elsewhere. Which version our upload is has not been established. No charts, video, covers or samples were found.
