Daily Routine
It starts with a water drop, and ends in a drone made by chaining samplers together.

Allen said Daily Routine begins with an arpeggiated synth figure and the sound of a water drop. They cut the Juno's arpeggiation into single notes, recorded Portner making water drops in a sink, and Allen wrote a tempo map in Logic that sped up over thirty to sixty seconds, so the notes and drops slowly speed up until the song begins. The band told the Red Bull Music Academy that they sampled drops from a faucet to re-create a rain shower starting suddenly. The washy outro was made by chaining the Roland samplers as effects units, with heavy delay.
Richardson of Pitchfork heard an awkward organ-based mid-tempo number that moves into a long droney coda with the ego-pulverizing bliss of shoegaze. It was the sixth song at the Manhattan Center show on 20 January 2009.
