The journalist and photographer Dave Hendley compiled the album from 45s Pablo made between 1972 and 1975. The rhythm section is Robbie Shakespeare and Aston Barrett on bass with Earl Chinna Smith on guitar, and Dillinger and Clive Chin share the vocals on Brace a Boy. Hugh Mundell sings on Park Lane Special. King Tubby, Philip Smart and Prince Jammy mixed it. The set includes Cassava Piece, the rhythm behind Baby I Love You So.
The album appears in Steve Barrow and Peter Dalton's 1999 Rough Guide to Reggae: 100 Essential CDs. Trouser Press called it a perfect starting point for the uninitiated, with bright and snappy production.
