Recorded and mixed at Estúdio Level and mastered at Kendun Recorders, with Andy Mills and Humberto Gatica engineering and a cover illustration by Antonio Peticov. Paulo Moura plays soprano saxophone on the title track, the guests include Neném da Cuíca, and the album covers two Milton Nascimento songs, Tarde and Circo Marimbondo. Atlantic released it in Brazil, the United States and Japan at the same time, which helped bring the Milestone contract. Mr Bongo reissued it in 2019.
