The single (Virgin VS463) was produced by Pete Wingfield and released on November 6, 1981. It entered the UK chart at 62 on November 14, 1981, peaked at 40 on November 21 and stayed four weeks, and reached 68 in Australia. Sullivan wrote all the lyrics and co-wrote most of the band's material, but the specific songwriting credit for this song was not verified, so none is given here. It was recorded in 1981; the studio, dates and full personnel were not found.
Wikipedia says it was number one in Brazil for three months and a 1982 World Cup theme; Sullivan said it was used by Globo TV for the 1982 World Cup, which could not be independently confirmed. In 2012 Sullivan posted instrumental and vocal remixes, saying it had taken a few years to get the masters back and that Reilly did the lion's share, and in 2014 he posted a new mix, which he called a better mix, for the reissue's bonus remix CD. No cover, sample or video was found.
