Baby I'm Yours

"Baby I'm Yours" was written by Berland and Irfane Khan-Acito, produced by Breakbot, and released by Ed Banger; it is track 10 on By Your Side. Its release date in February or March 2010 is inconsistent across sources (February 15, February 25 and March 5), so only the month is given. Qobuz describes it as his Ed Banger debut, with remixes by Siriusmo and La Funk Mob. No recording date, studio, personnel or statement from Breakbot on what it is about was found. It reached number 28 on the French singles chart in 2011 and is certified platinum in France, gold in the US and Brazil and New Zealand and silver in the UK, as Wikipedia lists.

The video was made by hand by Irina Dakeva from about 2,000 watercolor images, and some of the paintings were shown at a premiere at Colette the day before Hypebeast reported it on June 10, 2010. It was nominated at the UK Music Video Awards on October 12, 2010 for Best Budget and Independent Video and for Best Animation. Breakbot told Tiny Mix Tapes that Bruno Mars wanted to cover it. In late 2018 it became an internet meme, which the Guardian covered on December 20, 2018. Setlist.fm lists it as his most played song, 14 times on the site. No covers or samples were verified.
