John Martyn plays second guitar on "Curl Your Toes" and the title track, and Ric Sanders, later of Fairport Convention, plays guitar on "Lizard-Long-Tongue Boy" and "Many Happy Returns". Atwood magazine describes the sound as very little production, so that we hear her as she played; AllMusic's Richie Unterberger called it music for wandering through meadows on overcast days. It made no significant impression in the UK or US on release. The US release was on Elektra. Times were not found for the tracks.
