Fifteen songs were recorded and ten chosen, all written by Campbell, on heartbreak, escapism and loneliness. Metacritic scores it 77, AllMusic gave it five stars and called it enchanting, and Pitchfork gave it 7.8 and placed it 45th of 2006. The Guardian praised her vocals but found the sweetness monotonous. Elefant released it in Europe and Merge in North America.
