Fool for You

Fool for You was recorded in 2010 and solicited to radio on 8 March 2011 as the third single from The Lady Killer. Green wrote it with Jack Splash, who produced it. The single version features Melanie Fiona, while the album version has vocals from Philip Bailey. Pitchfork's Joshua Klein said Green happily shares the spotlight with Bailey, of Earth, Wind & Fire, on it. A demo had originally been made by Jamie Foxx for his album Best Night of My Life but was given to Green instead.

At the 54th Grammy Awards it won Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.
