After the acoustic tour of autumn 1971, Crosby and Nash decided in 1972 to record an album together. It reached number 4 on the Billboard 200, showing that the two were still a draw without Stills and Young. Crosby wrote Whole Cloth, Where Will I Be?, Page 43, Games and The Wall Song, and Nash wrote the other six tracks. The duo went on to make Wind on the Water (1975) and Whistling Down the Wire (1976), both certified gold.
