Journey of the Deep Sea Dweller I

The first of Clone's four retrospective volumes: thirteen remastered tracks, one previously unissued.
Drexciya, 2011

Journey of the Deep Sea Dweller I (Clone Classic Cuts, C#CC022CD) was remastered by Adlen Tyrell and holds thirteen tracks, one previously unissued, "Unknown Journey"; many come from The Quest (1997). The Quietus calls "Wavejumper" possibly its most recognizable track, with a hoarse, spooky intro over riffing cymbals, an elastic melody and a slack electro-funk beat, and Resident Advisor cites it with "Lardossen Funk" as an example of the duo's funky groove.
