The Bunnymen recorded six sessions for John Peel between 1979 and 1983, the first while they still used a drum machine. The 2019 compilation gathers them over four sides. It opens with Read It in Books, credited to McCulloch and Julian Cope, and I Bagsy Yours, the early title of Monkeys, and closes with My Kingdom. The BBC's page for the 1983 session lists the line-up as McCulloch, Sergeant, Pattinson and de Freitas, with Nocturnal Me, Watch Out Below, Ocean Rain and My Kingdom.
