Ekseption 3

Ekseption 3 (Philips 6413 007) was recorded at Phonogram Studios in Holland, with Tony Vos producing and Gerard Beckers as engineer. Rick van der Linden is credited on piano, spinet, Hammond organ and Mellotron and as composer, arranger and writer of the sleeve notes, with Steve Allet on vocals, Cor Dekker on bass, Peter de Leeuwe on drums, Tony Vos and Dick Remelink on saxophones, Rein van den Broek on trumpet and flugelhorn, and Will Luikinga on lyrics. Dutch Wikipedia calls it a concept album based on The Little Prince, since "B 612" is the prince's asteroid and "The Lamplighter" a character, and says "Rondo" is the only quasi-live track in the album series. The tracks are "Peace Planet" (3:01), "B 612", "Morning Rose", "The Lamplighter", "Bottle Mind", "On Sunday They Will Kill the World", "Another History" (4:37) and "Rondo" (5:25).
