Six of the eight tracks come from cassettes Doueh recorded himself, among them Eid for Dakhla, the song Sublime Frequencies first heard on the radio. Mayet recorded Wazan Samat and Cheyla Ya Haiuune at the compound in February 2006 and wrote the liner notes. The LP was a gatefold edition of a thousand copies, also issued on CD.
PopMatters gave it five out of ten, hearing the faults of the recordings more than the band. Fretboard Journal later recommended it as the record that best catches Doueh's frenetic energy, and Christgau gave it an honorable mention. Cheyla Ya Haiuune is the band's most often logged live song on setlist.fm.
