Recorded, edited and compiled by Hisham Mayet in Dakhla in 2010, and mastered by Mark Gergis. After the acoustic Beatte Harab, Doueh brought in his sons El Waar on synth and organ and Hamdan on drum kit, the main new element, while three female singers backed Halima Jakani. It was released to coincide with the band's 2011 tours of Britain, Europe and North America.
Afropop Worldwide heard three high-energy songs at the start, a dip in the middle and a six-minute jam to close. Tiny Mix Tapes gave it four out of five and called that closer, Wazan Doueh, an absolute stormer. Blogcritics thought it the group's best recording so far, and Robert Christgau gave it an A minus.
