Lighthouse, the fifth track on Ruins, was recorded in 2011 in the cabin at Aljezur, Harris at an upright piano with a portable four-track and a single stereo microphone catching the room and the night outside. Crack's reviewer heard the impressionist lilt of Debussy and Joe Hisaishi's score for Spirited Away, overlaid with the croaking of frogs. It shares the album's mood, which Harris described as living in the remains of love. It has no logged live performance.
