"Turn on Your Radio" is the fourth track on Son of Schmilsson, 2:42, written by Nilsson, who plays acoustic guitar; Richard Mackey, Vincent DeRosa and David Duke play French horn and Kirby Johnson arranged the horns. It was recorded in March and April 1972 in London. It was the B-side of "Spaceman", released on September 4, 1972 in the US and September 14 in the UK, which reached number 23 in the US. Far Out's Tom Taylor calls it an almost-unbearably beauteous lullaby, and Uncut a Newman-like ballad and an example of Nilsson's trademark romantic and ironic refinement. No comment from Nilsson, covers, samples or live history were found.
