Released seven months after the debut, the EP opens with a remix of Endangered Species (Tales from the Darkside), which was issued as a single with Dead Homiez on the B-side. It also holds a remix of Get Off My Dick and Tell Yo Bitch to Come Here that runs to over three minutes, where the album version lasts under one. The other new songs were Jackin' for Beats, The Product, Dead Homiez and I Gotta Say What Up!!! It was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Robert Christgau gave it an A minus, and singled out The Product and Dead Homiez. Trouser Press praised the lighthearted Jackin' for Beats and the devastating Dead Homiez. 2Pac's Young Black Male, on 2Pacalypse Now, samples both Dead Homiez and The Product.
