Money Trees

DJ Dahi produced the track, Derek "MixedByAli" Ali mixed it, and Anna Wise sings background vocals. It features Jay Rock. It samples Beach House's Silver Soul and interpolates E-40's Big Ballin' with My Homies. Within the album's story it follows Lamar as he reassesses events so far, and it ends with another call from his mother asking for her car. Although it was never released as a single, it spent seven weeks on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 and reached number 19.

Rolling Stone ranked it first on its 2021 list of the 50 best Kendrick Lamar songs. Lamar and Jay Rock performed it at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards and frequently on the world tour. A video was begun in 2013 and has never been released. Jay Rock issued a sequel, Money Trees Deuce, on 2 June 2015.
