The eighth track of the album begins with 20 seconds of silence and Moctar playing guitar. Its subject is the French colonisation of Niger, and it references the Voulet-Chanoine Mission, a French colonial expedition. AllMusic called it the sonic and emotional centerpiece of the record. Moctar described the album as a message to all the countries with money and power that come into Africa, and he told PBS NewsHour that if we stay silent it will be the end of us.

The Observer's Phil Mongredien heard a lament for the continued exploitation of the continent that explodes into Hendrix and Van Halen inspired pyrotechnics in its long coda, with the rest of the band raising the tempo as Moctar solos. Pitchfork's Sam Sodomsky described a colossal closing jam that spotlights drummer Ibrahim and a climactic solo as close to pure noise as Moctar has come.
