Made to Love Magic reached number 27 on the UK Albums Chart. It offers a previously unreleased solo acoustic River Man from early 1968, a Cambridge demo, and Tow the Line, a song from his final session in July 1974 that is possibly the last he ever committed to tape. Magic is I Was Made to Love Magic sped up, with a string arrangement Robert Kirby wrote in 1969 recorded in 2004. Released as a single, Magic reached number 32 on the UK Singles Chart, Drake's first chart entry, with Northern Sky on the B-side. The album's Three Hours is a March 1969 take with Rebop Kwaku Baah on congas.
