The Postcard single that followed Falling and Laughing, with Love Sick on the other side and a hand-coloured poster for a sleeve.
Orange Juice (1980)

Written by
Edwyn Collins
Released
August 1980

Blue Boy came out in August 1980 as Postcard PC 80-2, paired with Love Sick. Collins wrote it. Alex Fergusson and Orange Juice produced it, Calum Malcolm engineered it, and Fergusson sang backing vocals. Kirk played the guitar solos, while Daly on drums and McClymont on bass added backing vocals.

The first pressing had blue labels and a hand-coloured poster that folds into a cover. Scott Plagenhoef of Pitchfork said the A-sides had a robust charm, and it was collected on The Glasgow School at 2:53.
