It's Real

Written by Courtney and released as a single in 2011, it was the first video from Days. IMVDb credits the director as Weird Days. Indie Hoy described a retro look, with fields, a dog and the band playing. Stereogum ranked it the best video of the week on 4 November 2011 and joked that the band took up camera time that should have gone to the dogs. Good Times said the clip shows the band relaxing at home.

Jim Connelly of Medialoper heard Mondanile's swirling guitar jangle over a double-time snare from Pollis, a double backbeat in the chorus and a synth added near the end, and called it the standout from Days. Pitchfork's Marc Masters described it as insistent and singled out Mondanile's guitar on it. Paste's Dan Weiss compared it to R.E.M. Courtney told Paste he had almost thought the song too poppy. The upload in the hypersongs web is the official music video.
